There’s several mistakes that I noticed during rendering that I really don’t know if I’ll fix @@ If I do it won’t be for a while probably ;u; I need to finish this part and move on~ I’m on summer break now so we’ll see what I can get done! I’m hoping to finish by September at the latest but no promises, I really need to watch my health first and foremost ;u;

I redid some of the backgrounds for my OP because I was feeling really unmotivated to do much else, and liked this one enough that I just drew a picture on top of it orz I’ll probably end up redoing the background again someday, but I’m fairly happy with it for now ^^
It’s Lisha fighting the dude in the opening with a few minor adjustments for the sake of composition lol. I never really draw Lisha either, she needs more love from me too ;v;
Wanted to practice painting skin so I drew Cless uvu I never draw this poor guy (outside of the butt-tons of frames he’s in for episode 1 >U ) so I decided to practice on him C:

Name: Cless Itokis
Age: 20
Race: Human

Class: Working
A stubborn and headstrong vigilante who lives in the rebel-infested slums of the capital city of Chrinellis with his grandmother, the area’s pharmacist and medic. Both of his parents died during the Chrinellis-Aphelion War while working reconnaissance for Aphelion. He refuses to follow in his father’s footsteps in terms of leading the people of the slums against the government of Chrinellis, and would rather take care of the local corruption problem instead of attempting to weed out the problems of the distant monarchy.
Due to his contrary stance to the brewing rebellion, he is an incredibly unpopular person within the slums and is constantly a target for trouble. Regardless, he stays with his grandmother to help her run the family pharmacy and clinic. In his free time, he indulges his massive hero complex by roaming the area, combatting crime and local distress where and when he sees it, sometimes going out of his way to pick a fight. He is incredibly emotional and volatile, getting attached to things and people easily and letting his gut dictate his actions rather than his reasoning.
But despite some of his inadvertant trouble-making, Cless wants nothing more than to help people. He is a kind, albeit very immature person, who wants to protect those that are more vulnerable. He gets roped into the Keybearer journey as one of the protectors by Illuna, without any of his say or consent. Needless to say, his hero complex has bitten off far more than it can chew.

Well here’s the next Terra Lucis character reference sheet ^^ Cless is probably my most neglected character in my videos, especially since he’s the main character orz; Well Episode 1 is alllll about him so you’ll get to see him alot there~

Name: Illuna Chronos
Age: 18
Race: Human
- Subrace: Keybearer
Height: 5’3”
Class: Ruling
A kind, headstrong, and determined girl, Illuna is the current Keybearer, a position which only exists within the upper, educated classes of society. She is the daughter of Oren Chronos, the King of Chrinellis. Her mother, Shihna Chronos, died during chidlbirth, a common occurrence during the birth of a Keybearer. Because of her status as Keybearer, she is not in line to inherit the throne as Queen.
For several reasons including her critical position as Keybearer as well as the large amounts of dissonance between Chrinellis and the neighboring nation of Aphelion, Illuna has been mostly cloistered within the castle walls. Thanks to this sheltered upbringing she’s become very curious about the world around her, but also rather naive. This mix of inexperience and inquisitiveness has led her into making rash and reckless decisions, such as wandering into the slums where Cless resides.
Her magic level is far lower than expected for a Keybearer her age, and is rendered useless if she lets her emotions run out of control. Unlike the last Keybearer, she is far from being a “natural” at magic, and is quite out of sync with most of the elements except for her base element of fire. Regardless, she is a hard worker who strives to improve her abilities, as well as a smart strategist.
Illuna, after years of limited contact with the outside world, is eager to make friends and quick to trust. She turns a blind eye to those with ill intentions and prefers to give people the benefit of the doubt. However she is rather unforgiving towards those who lose this trust, and once it’s gone it’s near impossible to gain that trust back. She also can be selfish with her friendships, sometimes pushing and tugging them in a direction that suits her needs best.
Started doing reference sheets for the characters, so I decided to start off with the namesake character for this account and my YT one ^^ I really need to put up the mythos for Terra Lucis though, a lot of the terms stuff won’t make sense without it orz;
And yes, she could definitely use her ahoge as a weapon.

Finals Time
Hey guys, time for finals u v u Surprisingly, this means I get to work _more_ on Terra Lucis. I showed it to my Independent Study professor who’s the head of the Illustration department on a whim (“Arenia why don’t you do more work? I’m looking for quantity here, just that you’re doing stuff!” “Well, I’ve been doing this personal project for a while…” “Let me see it”) and he surprisingly, LOVED it! I didn’t get the “Don’t draw anime!” didactic whatever that I expected.
In fact, he said “It’s good to hear opinions from all sides, but I think that people that hate it so much don’t understand it. Why avoid drawing what makes you happy just because some other guys hate it? If you can make it work then make it work.”
Sooo yeah, he wants to see Scene 2 finished (sans color, but with lineart) by the end of the semester which is soon. Expect a lot of work done in the next few days (if my arm lets me! orz) The professor even wants me to do a thesis on Ep. 2 next year so that I could focus wholeheartedly on it for 4 months! .-.
